Adapt Global Solutions is a Belgian company founded by two specialists in applied mathematics. We take real operational problems — the ones still solved by hand, by intuition, in a spreadsheet — and treat them for what they are: problems that can be formalised, modelled and solved.
Our approach
From the field to the model, from the model to the software.
We do not stop at an analysis note. We go all the way to software used daily by the people on the ground, because that is the only place where a model creates real value.
Solve
Combinatorial optimisation, operations research, geospatial data processing. We pick the method that fits the computation time the actual usage allows, and we measure how good the result is.
Ship to production
Backend, database, web interfaces and mobile applications, deployment and monitoring. The algorithm becomes a tool people open in the morning, on desktop as well as on a phone.

NPBIO
Planning and tracking of medical sample collection rounds
Observation
A laboratory collects samples every day from hundreds of practices, each with its own opening hours and deadlines. These rounds are built by hand: slow, fragile, impossible to re-plan when the day goes off script.
Method
The problem is formalised as a VRPTW — vehicle routing with time windows — and solved over real road distances, in collaboration with Belgian medical analysis laboratories.
Solution
A two-part platform: a laboratory dashboard to plan and follow the day, and a field agent app for the route sheet and visit confirmations from the road.
Outcome
Rounds are no longer rebuilt by hand. Every computed proposal is still checked and approved by a responsible person before it goes live: the decision stays human.

One training, two fields of application.
Adapt Global Solutions grew out of two backgrounds in applied mathematics, practised today in very different sectors — financial markets and energy. In both, the work consists of turning a complex reality into a model you can decide on. That is exactly what we do here.
